15 Favorite Books of 2021

Last year I enjoyed so many books that I had to split up this post into three — speculative, non-speculative, and non-fiction. This year, The Year of the Reading Slump, I have 15 books in total that have made it onto the list, which is an indicator of how much my reading year kind of sucked, sadly. So, the fact that these books managed to stand out in the middle of one of my worst reading years ever should tell you how good they are!

They are absolutely in no particular order except maybe kind of chronological, going in order from December to January, but honestly, even that’s not accurate. Oh well. Doesn’t matter.

Best Books of 2020 (So Far!)

Now that we’re officially halfway through the year, and I have read 62 books, it’s time to talk about my ten faves of the year so far! These are arranged in the order in which I read them. Best Books of 2017

bestbooks

It’s time for a compilation of the best books I had the pleasure of reading in 2017! The challenge in making this list was that rather than describing these book’s qualities, I just felt tempted to gush incoherently in all caps. I tried my best to rein that desire in.

And now — drumroll please!!! — we begin the countdown! Continue reading “Best Books of 2017”
